Union Rep Training courses dates and venues for the GMB union North West & Irish region for 2022
The GMB union North West & Irish Region runs training courses at various venues throughout the region for GMB member representatives, all organised by our own training department at regional office.
Induction Course Stage One - Five days
We appreciate the vital role our reps play in developing workplace organisation and provide them with the skills and knowledge to enable them to effectively undertake their duties as a GMB union Representative.
The training with the GMB trade union commences with Stage 1, a 5-day Induction course, which covers subjects/problems that a rep encounters in their workplace and our aim is to give you the skills to deal with these prob-lems, to the benefit of the health and well-being of our reps and members.
Once this training has been completed, reps are advised of the second stage of their training, a number of short specific training courses, which expand on the subjects covered on the induction.
