MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL FROM GMB TRADE UNION
As a trade union tied into the traditions of the labour movement and an affiliate of the Labour Party the GMB union wants to play a big part in achieving a better society.
And as the UK prepares for a festive season such has never experienced before, people are facing uncertainty about so many things, but one thing most of us want is an end to the way this country is being run.
GMB union wishes all our union members a happy and safe festive season, especially those members working through this period making it happen.
Your GMB union reps will be on site if you need support

Reports suggest transphobic attacks have soared in recent years in England and Wales, trebling from 550 reported incidents to 1,650.
All over the world trans rights are under attack, countries such as Brazil and Poland have seen the election of right wing leaders with an explicitly anti LGBT agenda. Shockingly so far in 2020 at least 33 transgender or gender nonconforming people were fatally shot, or killed by other violent means because of their gender identity. The majority of these were black and Latinx transgender women. Often these stories go unreported or misreported and so the real size of the problem of violence against trans people is potentially larger globally.
