GMB UNION BLASTS THE TORIES FOR DRAGGING THE NATION INTO A WINTER OF DISCONTENT

GMB Union condemns the Prime Ministers fanciful claims

Despite the innumerable challenges we face, our union is committed to providing for the most vulnerable both in and beyond the workplace.

Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by this sun of York’ utters the disillusioned Richard III in Shakespeare's tragedy baring the same name. Coincidentally, the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak – another delusional demagogue – is the Member of Parliament for Richmond (York’s), and his premiership should also be considered a tragedy; however, not for himself, but for the inhabitants of the British Isles.

REMOVE UNFAIR STAFF PARKING CHARGES AT NHS TRUST SAY GMB UNION

GMB union REMOVE UNFAIR STAFF PARKING CHARGES AT NHS TRUST SAY GMB UNION

GMB trade union call on North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust to remove unfair staff car parking charges. We believe that it's unfair that staff should pay to park at work. We also believe that it's unfair that substantial profit is made from these charges, and we can evidence this is the case as we have submitted a freedom of information request to the Trust and have been provided with the data.

GMB UNION CONDEMNS PREJUDICE AND INJUSTICE AT WORLD CUP

GMB UNION CONDEMNS PREJUDICE AND INJUSTICE AT WORLD CUP

GMB Union continues to staunchly support and champion workers’ rights, alongside all equality and diversity related matters, and condemns FIFA, Qatar and all those reaping the benefits of this blood-soaked tournament.

GMB Union condemns prejudice and injustice at World Cup

Beneath the glitz and glamour of FIFA and Qatar’s 2022 World Cup, an undercurrent of prejudice and hostility towards basic human rights and decency is omnipresent. From the several countries decisions to drop the One Love armband, to the hypocrite executives in charge of FIFA, this year’s tournament is gaining volumes of notoriety, but for all the wrong reasons.

JUST A BALL GAME? JOINS QATAR PROTEST IN BERLIN

The silence from both FIFA and the Qatari Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy on all of these issues is deafening apart from the universal “Football is for All” and “Everyone is Welcome” spouted almost daily.

THE GOVERNMENT DO NOT INTEND TO MOVE ON THE CURRENT ISSUE OF NHS PAY

GMB union concern. The Government do not intend to move on the current issue of pay.

If the health secretary wants to stop an unprecedented winter of NHS strikes, he knows what to do. It’s not rocket science. Give NHS workers a proper pay rise, that means they don’t have to use food banks or quit the service in droves.''

The Government do not intend to move on the current issue of NHS pay.
