GMB UNION MEMBERS DISPUTE AT POLYFLOR ENDS IN AGREEMENT
After 8 weeks of being in dispute with management at Polyflor and recent developments with the company they tabled an offer last week, we met with GMB members at Whitefield Method Church yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting they tabled a mandate to re-ballot on the offer (85% of members supported the proposal).
Therefore, I can confirm the Reps have concluded another ballot on the following offer;
9% from 1st December 2022 to 1st December 2023.
Plus £660 paid December 2022 and £660 paid January 2023.
With the result as follows;
107 to accept (86.3%)
17 to reject (13.7%)
This brings the dispute at Polyflor to a close with members returning to work - Wednesday 30th November.
I can confirm we have contacted the employer with the result and subsequent withdrawal of Industial action.
