Andrew has raised over £1,000 for The Brain Charity
GMB union disabled group chair, Andrew Wennell, raises money for The Brain Charity.
The chair of our disabled workers group Andrew Wennell got on his bike for a brilliant cause back in July.
He took part in the Liverpool -Chester cycle ride on a specially adapted tricycle as his disabilities prevent him from riding a standard two wheeled bicycle.
He was doing the ride to raise much needed funds for The Brain Charity who offer emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends and carers.
Andrew has used the services of the charity himself and often volunteers there along with his wife Pam offering friendship and support to those who need it.
So far Andrew has raised over £1,000 for The Brain Charity which they were delighted with, if anyone wants to make any late donations they can do so at the link below.
