GMB Ambulance trade union survey
11 October 2018

NHS Staff have now received their pay increase and back pay. ‘Disappointed’ is just one of the many feelings which have been expressed by loyal and dedicated NHS Staff who have already endured almost a decade of real terms pay cuts.

GMB said #ItsANoFromUs from the beginning. The three year pay award was very complex, affected individuals differently and would be below forecast inflation over the next three years, resulting in this being another three years of real terms pay cuts.

GMB was outvoted and the pay award was therefore imposed. The governments anti trade union laws restricted us from being able to pursue industrial action at this time.

However, GMB National NHS and Ambulance Service Reps committed that the GMB NHS Pay Campaign would not stop and we would continue to call on the government for more funding for NHS Pay.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey on the link below and tell us what your main concerns are and what you think the GMB focus should be.
