How do we make our sports teams and clubs more inclusive and welcoming?
Pride is a time for protest, education, advocating and celebrating for LGBT+ peoples lives and history. We would love more trade union members and fellow co-workers to be involved in local and national pride events as allies.

Since the beginning of June we have had an increasing number of GMB union members contacting us, who are very anxious and concerned over what appears to be ever increasing numbers of customers in stores. As recently announced, GMB union will soon be balloting our local government & schools members on the employers pay proposals.

The GMB trade union supports the fight for justice at Grenfell and safe housing. We are asking our union members to please help this cause and write to your MP demanding a deadline for safe housing, using this link SupportGrenfell.co.uk We must urge the Gov to act now. Write to your MP demanding the Government publish a deadline and detailed timeline to remove all flammable cladding and hold themselves accountable if they fail to meet the deadline again.
BENTLEY ANNOUNCEMENT OF 1,000 JOB LOSSES IS ANOTHER MAJOR BLOW FOR THE CAR INDUSTRY AND MANUFACTURING IN THE NORTH WEST
GMB trade union have reacted to Friday’s announcement by luxury car maker Bentley that they are seeking to make 1,000 staff redundant at their factory in Crewe Cheshire describing it as another bitter blow to manufacturing in the region at the worst possible time.
Bentley currently employs 4,200 staff at Crewe with the proposed redundancies accounting for around a quarter of their employees. The company have said the redundancies will initially be voluntary.
