GMB Carillion members from a protest outside the NI Housing Executive; where PWC and the preferred bidder (from a fire sale which was concluded earlier this week) were meeting to what we believe was to conclude the sale.
The NI business has continued to operate with supply chain intact. Our members are annoyed at being kept in the dark over their future. The local management submitted an MBO, but failed to gain preferred bidder.
We are still waiting to hear officially who was successful but it is believed to be French Company Engie, which has 2 ex Carillion directors on the payroll.
