A number of ASDA members have received letters from HM Revenue & Customs informing them that in their particular case there was an underpayment of tax in the last financial year (ending April 2013).  We are raising this issue with ASDA at our scheduled forum meeting next week to determine why this has happened, but in the meantime we advise members to contact HMRC to obtain an explanation and full breakdown of their specific amount and secondly insist the company arranges as long a time frame as possible to make the repayments (if in fact you do owe anything).
