As we enter into what is our fifth day of action the support of all members and the public remains resolute.
The UK government are still not listening despite improved offer in both Wales and Scotland.
They instead are forcing through legislation to make it illegal for us to take action as an emergency service.

An additional day of annual leave for all Chief Officers to be implemented from 1 April 2023

This hospital offers specialist care, for example caring for people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act, Dementia and Mental health conditions.
Working conditions are often challenging.

NIPSA, GMB and Unite will commence a ballot for industrial action across all NI Civil Service Departments and Arms’ Length Bodies.
The action is being forced by a derisory and insulting pay offer from the Department of Finance which will see most Civil Servants receive less than 2%.

The results were discussed at a joint meeting of the GMB union National Local Government and Schools Committees on 11th January 2023 and it was agreed that GMB trade union would ask for the following to be included in this year’s pay claim:
