The GMB negotiating team met with ASDA Logistics Services management on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th May for further pay negotiations. Management put forward 3 pay increase proposals:
Option 1 – 1.3% increase for 12 months

In mid-February ASDA tabled proposals which included the restructuring of hours and outsourcing security in supermarkets to Cardinal.
GMB has submitted a failure to agree on behalf of GMB members employed in ASDA Distribution and Retail.
The GMB is opposed to ASDA's proposal to close The Step Up Pension Section, reduce Death in Service benefit from 4x to 1x pay and introduce a lower earnings limit before making pension contributions for everyone.
