The GMB North West & Irish Region is holding a LGBT + Summit on 5th May 2017 at regional office in Liverpool, 11am to 3pm.
GMB members from this region, who have an interest on lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender; are welcome to contact Lisa Ryan to book a place - lisa.ryan@gmb.org.uk
Branches are invited to nominate delegates from their branches. Delegates do not need to be post holders but must be fully paid up GMB members and must identify as LGBT+.
Branches are welcome to nominate more than one qualifying delegate.
The day is planned for GMB LGBT+ members to get together and shape the new GMB North West Region Shout next work which we hope to establish in the coming months.
The day will be very informal, this is the first event of this kind we have held in the region and we are looking for ideas how we can grow this forum into a strong group of activists on LGBT+ issues in the North West.
