We are also planning to email all care members this week to introduce the campaign to show that we're supporting them.
Furthermore, wearehand delivering a Christmas card to 10 Downing Street to the prime minister on Wednesday 20 December as part of the we care at Christmas campaign to ask the following:
Dear Prime Minister,
We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you receive all that you asked for.
We also wish for an end to the funding crisis in care that has led to inadequate local government financial support for care providers.
We wish for greater investment in care to demonstrate value to the millions of dedicated, hard-working care professionals who commit to providing an invaluable public service, boosting morale and pride in the industry.
We wish for your government to show those who work in care, the patients and their families, as well as the public, that you value the work and service of our industry.
Let’s hope we get all that we ask for, too. Care for our Carers, Care for the Care Sector.
